James Shaw

James Shaw is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in sustainability and public service. Currently serving as an Operating Partner at MORRISON and a member of the Sustainability Advisory Panel at Air New Zealand, Shaw also holds the position of Director of Climate Opportunity and Global Development at Greenbridge Capital Management and is a Board Member at WWF-New Zealand. Between May 2015 and May 2024, Shaw was a Member of Parliament for the Green Party of Aotearoa New Zealand, including roles as co-leader and Minister of Climate Change. Additional experience includes consulting for various organizations, serving as a Venture Manager at The Akina Foundation, and participation on the advisory board for AIESEC New Zealand. Shaw holds an MSc in Responsibility in Business Practice from the University of Bath School of Management and a degree from Victoria University of Wellington.
