Mark Clarke

Mark Clarke is an accomplished Project Director with extensive experience in the construction industry. Currently overseeing a £55 million project for the new Anderson High School and Halls of Residence in Lerwick Shetland at Morrison Construction, Mark has a solid track record of leading large-scale projects. Previously, Mark served as Projects Director at Stewart Milne Construction, managing numerous projects valued at £80 million across London and northern Scotland. With experience as Divisional Director at Carillion Planned Maintenance, Mark directed a team focused on reactive and planned property maintenance with a turnover of £40-50 million. Additionally, as Operations Director at Carillion, responsibilities included managing diverse projects ranging from schools to commercial works. Mark's early career at Mowlem involved significant roles including Regional Manager for the East of Scotland and leading high-value bids in PFI Schools and Defence. Mark holds an MBA from The University of Edinburgh, a BSc in Civil Engineering, and an LLM in Construction Law from the University of Strathclyde.
