Michael Ward

Michael Ward serves as the Head of Life Sciences and Patent Practice Groups and Intellectual Property Group at Morrison & Foerster since October 2000, where a key focus is on assisting clients in developing tailored intellectual property strategies by gaining an in-depth understanding of their businesses. Prior experience includes work as a Patent Agent and Attorney at Limbach and Limbach from 1992 to 2000. Michael Ward holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Golden Gate University, School of Law, and an extensive educational background in the life sciences, including a Post Doctoral Fellowship in Plant Molecular Biology from Harvard Medical School, a Ph.D. in Plant Physiology (Biochemistry), and a Master's degree in Agronomy from the University of California, Davis, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of California, Berkeley.
