Senior Application Engineer at Morse Micro

Brian Attride has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Brian started in 2015 as an intern with Analog Devices, where they worked on the characterization, design, functionality, and testing of MEMS switch products. In 2016, they joined Deloitte Ireland as a Technology Consultant, working on large-scale projects and engaging in roles such as business analyst, developer, tester, and trainer. One of their key responsibilities was the development of an android application for autonomous preventative maintenance using a DJI drone. In 2018, Brian returned to Analog Devices as a Design Engineer, creating reliable and reusable models of MEMS switch designs and designing test boards for parallel testing and characterization. From 2020 to 2022, they held the position of Senior Systems Application Engineer at Analog Devices, where they worked directly with customers, aided in integration efforts, managed product releases, and designed evaluation PCBs for the wireless battery management system. Currently, Brian is a Senior Application Engineer at Morse Micro, starting in May 2023.

Brian Attride has a strong educational background in the field of engineering. Brian first attended University College Dublin from 2012 to 2014, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Following this, from 2014 to 2016, Brian pursued a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Computer and Electronic Engineering from the same institution.

Additionally, Brian has earned several certifications in the field of Internet of Things (IoT) from IBM. These certifications include: IoT - Maximo Asset Management, IoT - Maximo Inventory Items, IoT - Maximo Domains, IoT - Maximo Introduction and Overview, IoT - Maximo Security Model, and IoT - Maximo Workflow. These certifications demonstrate Brian's dedication and expertise in the application of IoT technology.
