David Rice

David Rice is a seasoned professional in the information technology sector, currently serving as Principal Field Application Engineer at Morse Micro since October 2025, where responsibilities include collaborating with Sales on pre-sales activities and developing reference designs utilizing Morse Micro's technology. Prior to this role, David was Associate Director and Senior IT Architect at Dean Dorton from June 2015 to October 2025, leading IT infrastructure consulting efforts following Dean Dorton's acquisition of TeleData IT. David founded TeleData IT, serving as Managing Member from April 2003 to May 2015, and has held IT management positions at the Prevention Research Institute and Symbiotix, as well as a Director role at Transylvania University. David began a career in IT as a Programmer/Analyst at Commonwealth Credit Union. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from Transylvania University and further studies at the University of Kentucky Pigman College of Engineering.
