Julius Baxter has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering. Julius is currently working at Morse Micro as the Director of ASIC Engineering since May 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Director of Digital Design from March 2022 to May 2023 and Manager of Digital Design from May 2019 to March 2022 at the same company. Julius also worked as a Senior Processor Architect at Morse Micro from April 2018 to May 2019.

Before joining Morse Micro, Julius served as the Director of Free and Open Source Silicon (FOSSi) Foundation since October 2015. Julius was responsible for leading the foundation.

Prior to that, Julius worked at Broadcom as a Staff Engineer in Digital Design from October 2016 to April 2018. Julius also gained experience at Qualcomm as a Staff Engineer in Digital Design from October 2015 to October 2016, and at CSR as a Staff Engineer in Digital Design from July 2011 to October 2015.

Julius'scareer started at ORSoC, where they worked as a Digital Design Engineer from April 2008 to July 2011.

Julius Baxter began their education at Brisbane Grammar School, where they attended from 1998 to 2001. Upon completion of high school, they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Systems at The University of Queensland, where they studied from 2002 to 2006. Following their undergraduate studies, Baxter went on to further their education at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in System on Chip. This degree was earned between the years 2007 and 2011.
