Ryan Thompson

Senior RF Engineer at Morse Micro

Ryan Thompson has a strong background in engineering and academic research. Ryan started their career as an Intern Firmware Engineer at Rojone Pty Ltd in 2007. Later, they worked as a Software Systems Engineer at GPSat Systems Australia from 2014 to 2018. In 2015, they took on the role of Adjunct Associate Lecturer at UNSW, which they held until 2018. From 2018 to 2019, Ryan worked as a Casual Research Academic at the University of Adelaide. Currently, they are employed at Morse Micro, where they have held the positions of Wireless IC Bench Evaluation Engineer and Senior RF Engineer since 2019.

Ryan Thompson completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from UNSW. Ryan attended UNSW from 2004 to 2008. Later, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electrical Engineering from UNSW and was enrolled from 2008 to 2013.
