Simon Morris

Simon Morris has extensive work experience in the technology industry, spanning over several decades. Simon most recently worked at Morse Micro as a Principal Firmware Engineer, starting in 2022.

Before that, Simon worked at Huawei Technologies Research & Development (UK) Ltd, where they held the position of Principal Software Engineer from February 2016 to May 2022. In this role, they were responsible for greenfield full lifecycle software development of the MAC layer for multiple NB-IoT ICs. Simon also demonstrated technical leadership and expertise in various tools and programming languages.

Prior to their time at Huawei, Simon worked at Samsung Cambridge Solution Centre as a Team Leader for WLAN Software from October 2012 to January 2016. Simon took on additional responsibilities as a WLAN Software Group Leader from February 2006 to October 2012, building and managing a team of approximately 100 engineers across multiple countries.

Before joining CSR, Simon worked at Cambridge Consultants as a Software Engineer from June 1998 to April 2001. Simon also gained experience as a Software Engineer at Apricot Computers from March 1996 to May 1998 and at GPT Limited from October 1988 to February 1996.
