Simon Wadsworth is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in software and firmware engineering within the connectivity solutions industry. Currently serving as Director of Software at Morse Micro since September 2019, Simon has previously held roles including Firmware Manager and Principal Firmware Engineer. Prior to this, Simon was Director of Engineering and Principal Consultant at Virscient from April 2013 to September 2019, focusing on designing and implementing connectivity solutions, particularly in IEEE 802.11 systems. Additional experience includes an internship at Endace, where Simon developed an Android application, and a software development role at COGENT Farming Business Systems Ltd, contributing to a web-based management system for farmers. Simon holds an MSc and a BSc in Computer Science from The University of Waikato.
