Mark Morton

President and Founder

Mark Morton is the Founding President of Morton, overseeing the executive team and managing day-to-day operations since July 2006. With a strong focus on strategic growth and a hands-on approach to leadership, Mark promotes professional development among team members while maintaining valuable networks with clients. Prior to founding Morton, Mark served as Principal and Senior Consultant at McClain Group II, where responsibilities included business structure management and project delivery. Mark's experience at Markel Corporation as Director of Strategic Business Information Systems involved overseeing IT projects and implementing technology changes. Earlier in Mark's career, work at Anthem BCBS involved business process design and technology upgrades. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science in Urban Studies/Affairs from Virginia Commonwealth University and an Associate's degree in Science from Richard Bland College.
