The Assaluyeh Ethylene Plant Was Part Of The Kharg Olefin Complex Which In Accordance To NPC Resolution No. Sp 1-111/592 Dated 19 Mar 2006, The Ethylene Project Has Been Assigned To Morvarid Petrochemical Company.
The Plant’s Feed Shall Be Supplied From The Production Of Ethane From South Pars Plants For A Capacity Of 650t/y.
The Plant’s Production Capacity Is 500,000 t/y Of Ethylene Which Shall Be Injected Into The West Ethylene Pipe Line.
The Main Aim Of The Project Is To Generate Job Opportunities As Well As Know-How Transfer, Increase And Use Of Productivity From The National Capabilities, Economical Advantage, Hard Currency Earnings And Finally , Supplying The Feed For The West Ethylene Pipe-Line
