Tammy Hess has a diverse work experience in the field of payroll administration and implementation. Tammy started their career as the owner of Bookkeeping Made Simple in 2007, where they served until October 2021. During this time, they gained expertise in payroll processing, tax issues, and financial reporting.

In 2010, Tammy joined IGRS, LLC as the Director of Operations, where they implemented clients on the Kronos Work Force Ready platform and handled multi-state employee and tax issues. Tammy worked in this role until February 2014.

Tammy then joined Mosaic HCM in May 2014 as a Senior Client Account Manager. In this role, they processed high volumes of payroll for clients with employees in multiple states. Tammy also handled garnishments, created custom reports, and researched software issues. Later, in December 2018, they became the Tax Implementation Manager for Mosaic HCM, further expanding their expertise in tax-related payroll processes.

In January 2020, Tammy joined Evolve HCM as an Implementation Tax Manager. In this role, they focused on setting up tax jurisdictions for clients, ensuring accurate quarter-end tax filings, and assisting clients with system issues.

Additionally, Tammy served as the Communications Coordinator for the Denver Chapter Payroll Association from January 2016 to December 2022, showcasing their communication skills and involvement in the payroll community.

In 2009, Tammy briefly worked in HR at LenderLive Network, Inc.

Tammy Hess, CPP, holds an Associate's degree in Management Accounting, which was obtained from Barnes Business College from 1983 to 1985.
