Nik Berry has a diverse background in the field of data analysis and research. Nik is currently working as a Quant/Data Scientist at Mosaic Smart Data, starting in 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Barclays, where they held the roles of Quantitative Analyst and Data Scientist from 2017 to the present. Before joining Barclays, Nik worked at CERN, where they were a PhD Student Researcher from 2012 to 2017 and a MSc Student Researcher from 2011 to 2012.
Nik Berry has a strong educational background in Physics and Mathematics. They obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) with Honours in Mathematics and Statistics from The University of Sheffield, which they completed between 2008 and 2011. Following this, they pursued further studies and obtained a Master's Degree in Particle Physics from the University of Bristol in 2012. Nik then went on to complete their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in High Energy Particle Physics at Brunel University London, a degree they achieved between 2012 and 2016.
In addition to their academic qualifications, Nik has acquired several certifications. They completed courses in "Deep Neural Networks with PyTorch" in October 2022, "Introduction to TensorFlow for Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning" in May 2019, and "Neural Networks and Deep Learning" also in May 2019. These certifications were obtained from Coursera.
