Candice Gowan

Candice Gowan has held a variety of roles in their career. From 2014 to 2018, they worked as a Human Resources Coordinator at Quantum Technology Recruiting Inc. (QTR). In this role, they generated employee tracking reports, worked on administration, workers' compensation claims and benefits, and helped training and development staff with all aspects of training coordination. In 2018, they moved to Royal LePage Terrequity Realty, where they worked as a Real Estate Sales Representative. In 2021, they began working at Crone Real Estate as a Real Estate Sales Representative and at Milborne Group as a Senior Project Administrator. Later that same year, they began working at ZANN Dental Laboratories as a Front Office Manager, where they answered calls, assisted dentist office administrators, hired part-time staff for administrative roles, and screened and interviewed applicants for administrative roles. In 2022, they began working at Peraso Inc. as an Office Manager, where they coordinated renovations and expansions, assisted with lease administration, tracked and ordered furniture and supplies, sorted and distributed mail and courier deliveries, managed corporate travel, organized seminars and conferences, ordered access cards for new employees, performed daily walk throughs, scheduled meetings, provided special project and administrative support, liaised with building management for maintenance requests, processed on-boarding for new employees, enforced updated Health & Safety practices and policies, and maintained confidential employee records.

Candice Gowan has a diverse educational background. Candice completed their High School Diploma at St. Joseph's College School in 2008-2012. Candice then attended York University from 2012-2013, earning a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering. In 2014-2016, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering in Informatics and Security from Seneca College. In 2016-2021, they earned an Honours Bachelor of Commerce in Human Resources Management from Seneca College. Candice also obtained an Ontario Real Estate License from the Ontario Real Estate Association in 2018. Additionally, they received a Certificate of AODA Training from Seneca College in 2019.
