David Moreira

David Moreira is the CFO at Motesque and was previously the Director, FP&A Europe at Audible, Inc. from October 2019 to September 2020. In their role at Audible, David was responsible for serving as a solid business partner to the European Content teams, co-coordinating the preparation of annual budgets and rolling forecasts, and completing reports and analyses of departmental operations against budget. David was also prepared to discuss and present the financial forecast and deep analytics to an audience of senior leaders.

At Motesque, David is continuing their work in financial planning and analysis, helping to drive strategic planning and provide thought leadership behind improving and automating existing data models and business intelligence efforts. David is also the subject matter expert on Content investment and related performance analytics, as well as customer engagement dynamics; understand and analyse related trends.

Moreira has a diverse educational background, having studied computer science at Harvard University, finance and accounting at Prague University of Economics and Business, international business at Prague University of Economics and Business, procurement and supply at CIPS - The Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply, and business administration at ISLA - Instituto Politécnico de Gestão e Tecnologia. Moreira also has certification from Harvard University in CS50 for Educators and from University of California, Davis in SQL for Data Science.

They are on a team with Tobias Lang - CTO, Reuben Davies - SVP, E-Commerce Sales, and Tobias Fink - Head of Design. David Moreira reports to Kai Oberländer, CEO.
