MotherFood supports local food entrepreneurs to prevent maternal and child malnutrition.
We provide the financing, marketing support, and food production expertise entrepreneurs need to scale nutritious, affordable, fortified food in the communities
that need it most.
At the heart of our model is our fortified premix, a GAIN certified blend of essential vitamins and nutrients that can be added to locally produced foods without
changing their taste, texture, or price.
We strengthen the supply chains and businesses communities already depend on. We are product-agnostic, working with food manufacturers producing
porridge, snacks, staple grains, and more. What matters is that these foods are consumed regularly by the mothers and children most at risk.
This year, we are on tract to fortify over 50 million servings.
We are actively looking for:
Food entrepreneurs in Africa and Latin America who want to fortify their products and grow their business
Impact investors and funders who believe in market-based nutrition solutions
Organizations working in maternal health, food security, and international development looking for a credible implementation partner
If this sounds like you, get in touch.
