Mike Sexton

Mike Sexton is an experienced mechanical design engineer currently serving as Principal Mechanical Design Engineer at McLaren Applied since January 2017, after holding the title of Senior Mechanical Design Engineer. Prior to this role, Mike worked at McLaren Applied Technologies as a Mechanical Design Engineer from September 2013 to January 2017, focusing on the mechanical design of products across various industries. Earlier experience includes a position as Mechanical Engineer at BAE Systems, where the responsibilities involved the design and management of products for the aerospace and defense sector. Mike's career also includes roles as a Test Engineer at Treharne Automotive Engineering Ltd and as a Research Engineer at Swansea University. Academically, Mike holds a Master of Research in Computational Modelling in Engineering and a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering, both from Swansea University.
