Tim Rea

Tim Rea is an experienced engineering professional specializing in motorsport systems. Currently serving as the Motorsport Systems Engineering Team Lead and Hybrid Systems Team Lead at McLaren Applied since August 2016, Tim has progressed through various roles including Senior Systems Engineer. Prior to this, Tim held the position of Project Engineer at McLaren Automotive Ltd from March 2013 to August 2016 and worked as a Senior Engineer at Tata Motors from January 2012 to February 2013. Tim's career began as a Design Engineer at Ricardo, where employment lasted from September 2008 to January 2012. Tim Rea earned a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Mechanical Engineering from Loughborough University, completing studies in 2008.
