Michael Jorgensen

Michael Jorgensen is a seasoned professional in the maritime industry, currently serving as the Executive Vice President and Head of Dry Bulk at Torvald Klaveness since January 2010. Michael has held various significant roles, including Managing Director at Baumarine by MaruKlav and Advisor for Ocean Ventures Alliance at Motion Ventures since 2020. Previously, Michael was Vice President at KLAVENESS ASIA PTE. LTD., where oversight was provided to a diverse Panamax team. Michael began the career as a chartering assistant at Maersk China, further establishing expertise in chartering management during a tenure with Klaveness Asia in Singapore. Michael's educational background includes a degree in Transition to General Management from INSEAD and training at AP Møller.
