Erik Bakke is a highly experienced professional with a strong background in software, hardware, and firmware design, specializing in motion capture systems and inertial sensors. As the Co-Founder of Motion Workshop since January 2006, Erik has focused on 3D programming in OpenGL and DirectX for real-time user interfaces. Prior to this, as the Founder of GLI Interactive LLC from January 2003 to January 2006, Erik developed a GPU-accelerated user interface system and worked on real-time HD video decoding. Erik also gained valuable experience at Industrial Light & Magic, where time-sensitive data backup and render support were provided during motion picture production. Erik holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
