Alan Cripps, MBA, serves as the Vice President of Central Purchasing & Inventory at Motion since June 2014, where responsibilities include leading Central Purchasing and Inventory management. With extensive experience in inventory asset management, Alan handles over $1 billion in inventory, ensuring compliance with corporate quotas. Prior roles at Motion included Corporate Manager of Excess Inventory, where a focus was placed on reducing excess inventory, and Branch Operations Support Specialist, supporting business operations excellence. Previously, Alan held the position of General Manager, Sales and Operations at Best Buy, achieving significant sales and operational efficiency, and worked as Assistant Store Manager at Circuit City, excelling in technology services sales. Academic credentials include an MBA in Finance from Samford University and a Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership from the same institution, complemented by earlier studies at The University of Southern Mississippi and King's College London.
