Rick Metzger

Rick Metzger is an experienced account manager currently employed at Motion Industries since April 2019. Previously, Rick held a similar role at Kaman Distribution from June 2014 to April 2019. Rick's diverse career also includes law enforcement, having served as a Deputy at King William Sheriff's Office from December 2004 to June 2014, where responsibilities included Deputy Sheriff, Animal Control Officer, School Resource Officer, and D.A. Additionally, Rick worked as a Product Manager and Sales Engineer at Filtrona Richmond from February 1998 to December 2002, overseeing sales and marketing for medical products. Early in Rick's career, multiple promotions were achieved during a six-year tenure at Abbott Laboratories Diagnostic Division, where roles ranged from Warehouse Associate to Manufacturing Quality Assurance Supervisor. Rick holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Economics from Illinois State University and an Associate of Science in Business/Commerce from the College of Lake County.
