Ken Power

Ken Power is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering, artificial intelligence, and autonomous systems. Currently serving as Director of Engineering at Motional, Ken focuses on developing advanced technologies for Level 3 and Level 4+ autonomous driving systems, including AI compute platforms and sensor fusion. Ken also holds an adjunct research fellow and lecturer position at the National University of Ireland, Galway, contributing to applied research in software engineering and AI. Prior roles include Principal Engineer at Cisco, where Ken led significant projects in network systems, and various engineering positions at companies like Fidelity Investments, Avocent International, and Traventec. Ken's educational background includes a Doctorate in Engineering from the University of Limerick and multiple degrees in artificial intelligence and software engineering.
