Paul Schmit has had a varied and successful career in sales and marketing. Paul began their career in 2007 as the Director of Marketing & Sales for the Missoula Maulers Junior "A" Hockey Team, where they increased sponsorship sales by 623% from 2007-2012 and saved the owner $40,000/year securing lucrative trade agreements. In 2011, they took on the role of Account Executive at Townsquare Media, where they maintained a list of over 60 clients and generated approximately $20,000 in business every month. In 2012, they became the Marketing Coordinator at Arentz Law Group, where they created comprehensive marketing strategies for upcoming multi-district litigation (MDL) campaigns. In 2013, they joined Motive as VP of Sales, where they developed strategies relating to the company’s market, products, services, and sales goals. Paul then moved up to Sales Director, where they worked cross-functionally with media buyers, data analysts, sales, traffic, client success and management teams to ensure business goals and strategies were aligned while client satisfaction was maintained. In 2018, they became an Advisor for Run2Play, Inc., a gaming fitness company that operates using RUNcoin to reward users for their fitness activity.

Paul Schmit's education history includes a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Marketing from Northern Michigan University, which they obtained between 2004 and 2007.
