Tuomas Kaikkonen

Tuomas Kaikkonen is a seasoned software engineer with significant experience in developing and enhancing software systems across various companies. Currently serving as a Principal Software Engineer at Motorola Solutions since December 2014, Tuomas focuses on improving the security of the WAVE Tactical PTT system. Previous roles include a Software Developer at Twisted Pair Solutions, where Tuomas integrated Kenwood NXDN radio with a media server and set up an OpenSIPs server, a Senior Linux Software Developer at AVST, and a Linux Software Developer contractor at Clearwire. Tuomas has also contributed as an SDET III at Microsoft and managed the Linux Development team at NEC Infrontia. With a Master of Philosophy in Software Engineering and related fields from the University of Oulu, Tuomas possesses a solid educational foundation complemented by extensive hands-on programming and development experience in diverse environments.
