Igor Kovalenko is an accomplished software engineering professional with extensive experience at Motorola from October 1999 to present, where Igor serves as the Director of Software Engineering focusing on Android kernel and bootloader development. Prior roles include Distinguished Member of the Technical Staff and Principal Staff Software Engineer, contributing to Android platform bringup and Linux-Java based cellphone development. Prior to Motorola, Igor worked at ATS and InfoMarket as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer, respectively, specializing in Unix and QNX software porting and development, and also served in the Russian Army within Space Operations Command as a Software Engineer. Igor holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from A.F. Mozhaisky Military Space Engineering Institute in St-Petersburg, Russia.
