Alan Straus is currently the East Unit General Manager at Mott MacDonald, where they lead strategic initiatives in the East Region. They previously served as the Chief Strategy and Growth Officer for AECOM from 2015 to 2025 and held the position of Vice President at URS Corporation from 1999 to 2014. Prior to that, Alan worked as an engineer for the Maryland State Highway Administration from 1987 to 1997. They earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Maryland in 1987.
