Andy Baker

Andy Baker is a Human Factors Specialist with extensive experience in ergonomics and user-focused research across various infrastructure projects. Currently with Mott MacDonald since January 2023, Baker is part of the human factors team. Prior to this role, Baker worked at AECOM for a decade, providing human factors support across multiple sectors, including rail and aviation. From 1994 to 2011, Baker served as a projects manager at Davis Associates, contributing to significant projects such as the Heathrow STAR Centre and the redevelopment of King's Cross underground station. Baker's early career includes ergonomics design at Leyland DAF Trucks and a graduate training position at Jaguar Cars. Baker holds an MPhil in Ergonomics and a BSc in Production and Operations Management from the University of Nottingham.
