Daniel Mateus is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in community education and social enterprise. As Co-Founder and Strategy and Innovation Officer at Morilla Eco since May 2021, Daniel focuses on eco-inclusive initiatives in Malawi. Currently serving as Cluster Coordinator at Mott MacDonald and holding previous roles such as Community Education Coordinator for the USAID-funded Malawi YESA program and Project Coordinator at FOCOLD, Daniel has a strong background in improving educational outcomes and facilitating projects aimed at enhancing early grade reading. Daniel also contributed as Country Ambassador for Thought For Food, advocating for sustainable agricultural practices. Daniel earned a Bachelor's degree in Statistics and Computing from the University of Malawi in 2014.
