Gary Lam

Gary Lam, P.Eng. is an experienced Electrical Engineer currently employed at Mott MacDonald since October 2022, where responsibilities include designing electrical systems for significant projects such as the Ontario Line transit system in Toronto and a zero-emission rail vehicle in California. Previously, Gary served as an Electrical and Mechanical Engineer in the Drainage Services Department from July 2018 to December 2021, focusing on system engineering, project management, and safety regulations for large-scale municipal projects. Gary also worked for the Electrical and Mechanical Services Department of the HKSAR Government from September 2015 to July 2018, where Gary prepared professional engineering documents. Additionally, a brief internship at the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority in 2022 involved researching sustainability regulations and energy-efficient technologies. Gary holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and a Master of Science in Project Management, both from The University of Hong Kong.
