Gordon Hutton

Gordon Hutton is a skilled Civil Engineering Technologist and Project Manager with over 17 years of experience in construction project management, civil services, and infrastructure engineering. Gordon began their career as a survey technician, earning a National Higher Diploma in Surveying in 1992 and 1993, before transitioning to civil engineering and obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Technology Engineering: Civil in 2006. Since becoming a Professional Technologist with the Engineering Council of South Africa in 2009 and later a Professional Construction Project Manager in 2017, Gordon has focused on developing young professionals and overseeing major projects, ensuring they are completed within budget. Currently, Gordon continues their education at the Durban University of Technology and values the impact of engineering on communities.
