MGX Resources Limited (ASX Code: MGX, formerly Mount Gibson Iron) is an established independent West Australian miner and project developer that listed on Australian Stock Exchange (ASX) in 2002.
The Company has exported over 90 million tonnes of iron ore from operations in the Mid West and Kimberley regions of Western Australia since sales commenced in early 2004. With sales from its Koolan Island mine in the Kimberley scheduled to conclude in 2026, MGX is diversifying into precious and base metals, notably through the acquisition of a 50% interest in the advanced high-grade Central Tanami Gold Project in the Northern Territory.
