We walk alongside young people, differently.

Mountain Track is an immersive outdoor program supporting young people navigating the justice system to reconnect with themselves, others, and a future they can believe in. We believe every young person, no matter their past, deserves to be seen for who they are, not just what they've done.

Our team of skilled mentors and youth workers run extended bush-based journeys designed to rebuild trust, confidence, and connection. These aren't boot camps or punishments. They’re intensive, relational experiences grounded in challenge, care and consistency offering young people a chance to reset their compass in an environment that calls forward their courage.

Mountain Track supports young people across regional Victoria who’ve been referred through justice and community pathways. Our model blends evidence-based practices in youth development, trauma-informed care, and outdoor education, while holding fast to the importance of relationship, cultural safety, and deep listening. Our approach to behaviour change is grounded in psychology and neuroscience, helping young people rewire patterns, build emotional regulation, and develop a stronger sense of agency.

We work at the intersection of justice, wellbeing and place. The outcomes we see are powerful: increased emotional regulation, reduced offending, improved connection to family and community, and a greater sense of self-worth and purpose.

But our greatest metric is this: young people who are proud of who they’re becoming.
