Mohamed Matar

Mohamed Matar's work experience includes serving as an Adjunct Professor at the DeGroote School of Business at McMaster University, where they integrate their industry experience with academic insights to create a dynamic learning environment for their students. Mohamed also worked as an Instructor at Georgian@ILAC, where they taught courses in Strategic Management, International Business, and Business Management, focusing on sustainability and climate change. Prior to that, Mohamed held various roles at DMG | Mountain View, including Corporate Sustainability Senior Director and Business Development Director. Mohamed also has experience as a Teaching Assistant and Course Developer at McMaster University and as a Program Mentor at York University. Additionally, they worked as a Project Manager at DMA for Design and Engineering Consultancy.

Mohamed Matar completed their education as follows:

- From 2018 to 2020, they attended McMaster University and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.

- From 2008 to 2016, they studied at Cairo University and earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Structural Engineering. Their research focused on Systems Modelling for Evaluating Sustainability of Infrastructure Projects.

- In the period from 2002 to 2007, Mohamed pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Structural Engineering with a specialization in Sustainable Construction Management, also at Cairo University.

- From 2000 to 2002, they completed a Diploma program in Construction Engineering and Management at Cairo University.

- Lastly, Mohamed Matar received their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Civil Engineering from Cairo University, where they studied from 1995 to 2000.
