Edwin Arnaudin

Edwin Arnaudin is a staff writer at Mountain Xpress. Edwin was previously a freelance writer for the Asheville Citizen-Times, where they reviewed new films for the weekly Asheville Scene magazine and Living section, interviewed and profiled musicians and other performance artists for Asheville Scene, and wrote other articles as assigned. Edwin was also a freelance writer for Transylvania Times, where they interviewed and profiled musicians with upcoming shows in the Brevard area. Additionally, Edwin was a freelance writer for AshevilleMovies.com and Ashvegas, where they previewed and reviewed new films and wrote other articles as assigned. Prior to their career in writing, Edwin worked as an Access Services Library at the Transylvania County Library, where they managed the circulation department, provided exceptional customer service, assisted patrons over the phone and in person with various technical issues on an array of devices and operating systems, created step-by-step guides for eReader and eBook users, and performed other tasks as needed. Edwin also worked as a Branch Librarian at Andrews Public Library. Edwin has a passion for writing and film, and they enjoy using their platform to share their love of both with their readers.

Edwin Arnaudin has a Master's in Library and Information Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a Bachelor's in English and Communications and Religion from Greensboro College, and a Diploma from Brevard High School.
