Jonathan Ammons is a seasoned media professional with extensive experience in the food and beverage industry. As the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Dirty Spoon Media since 2013, Jonathan produces the Dirty Spoon online journal and the Dirty Spoon Radio Hour on WPVM, taking on multiple roles including host, director, and composer. Jonathan has contributed to various publications such as Salon News USA, Asheville Made Magazine, and Mountain Xpress, where a lead food and beverage writer position has been held. Additionally, Jonathan has developed recipes for Ingles Markets, Inc. and serves as a Pantry Columnist for Community Journals, while also working as a Cocktail Catering Specialist for Cordial & Craft and a Beverage Consultant for BLACK ORCHID EVENTS LTD. Educationally, Jonathan holds a BA in Music Business from Montreat College and has attended The Contemporary Music Center.
