Luther Hester

Luther Hester has over 50 years of work experience. Luther started their career at Bell Atlantic in 1968 as a Central Office Technician, where they worked on electro/mechanical relays and troubleshooted components. Luther later became a Temporary Central Office Supervisor, overseeing a team of 8 employees and handling employee issues. Luther then worked at Verizon Telecom as an Engineering Assistant from 1980 to 1999. In 2007, they joined Cyient as a Senior Engineer. Luther is currently working at MOUNTAIN, LTD. as an Outside Plant Engineer since 2020. In 2019, Luther took a semi-retired role.

Luther Hester attended Old Dominion University from 1962 to 1964, where they obtained an Associate of Applied Science degree in Electronic Engineering Technology. Later, from 1966 to 1970, they resumed their education at the same university, majoring in Electrical Engineering without earning a degree.
