Andrew Smith

Andrew Smith is an experienced HR professional with a strong background in recruitment and human resource management. Starting as a Recruitment Consultant at 1st Recruitment from July 2004 to March 2007, Andrew transitioned to various HR roles within the States of Jersey from April 2012 to June 2013, including HR Manager and HR Officer positions across multiple departments. In a leadership capacity, Andrew served as HR Business Partner and Team Leader, overseeing HR Advisors and supporting all departments of the States of Jersey. Since October 2018, Andrew has been with Mourant as an HR Business Partner, specializing in providing HR support to practice groups and business services teams. Andrew holds a Master’s Degree in CIPD Level 7 HRM from London South Bank University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Personnel Management from the University of Plymouth.
