Thomas G. Hampton

Thomas Hampton, PhD, serves as the President and Chief Scientific Officer at Mouse Specifics, Inc. since 1998, where responsibilities include leadership and scientific oversight. Previously, Thomas held the position of Assistant Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School from September 1996 to June 2010, contributing to research on cardiovascular effects of crack cocaine and sodium calcium exchange during cardiac ischemia in murine models. Earlier career experiences include roles as a Design Engineer for the City of New York, focusing on products utilizing recycled materials, and as a Development Engineer at GE, designing electromechanical components. Thomas holds a PhD in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Duke University, an MS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Connecticut, and a BSc in Engineering from Trinity College-Hartford.
