Emoti-con NYC Youth Digital Media And Technology Challenge Judge at Mouse

Kathy Rutherford is a highly experienced Tech Ed Product Evaluator and engineering mentor with a focus on STEM education, robotics, and technology integration. Since 2015, Kathy has been self-employed, evaluating a wide range of STEM education kits and products, while also serving as a technical mentor for various robotics teams, including the Steampunk Penguins at The Mary Louis Academy and the ICHS Lions at Immaculate Conception High School. In addition, Kathy contributes as a speaker and mentor for the NJ FTC STEM Girls and provides engineering resources for the Girl Scouts of Greater New York. Kathy's roles extend to judging positions with FIRST Robotics, Mouse, Science Olympiad, and serving on advisory councils, alongside a strong educational background with advanced degrees in Biomedical Engineering and Electrical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University and Manhattan University, respectively.
