David Britton

David Britton is an accomplished professional in governance, risk, and compliance with extensive experience across various industries and leadership roles. Currently serving as the Director of Governance, Risk, and Compliance at Movable Ink since August 2021, David spearheads initiatives to enhance security and privacy while ensuring compliance with standards such as SOC 2 Type II and ISO certifications. Previous positions include Senior Manager of Information Security & Compliance at Digital Defense, Inc., where David led SOC 2 compliance efforts, and Deputy Director of Safety and Risk Management at Naval Test Wing Pacific, responsible for managing a risk management framework for over 500 personnel. David's military background includes roles that advanced safety and operations within the Navy. Educational qualifications include two Master of Science degrees from the Naval Postgraduate School and the Indonesian Command and Staff College, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Virginia Tech.
