John Third

John Third serves as the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Movement Mortgage since March 2012, overseeing nationwide operations, including processing, underwriting, and technical support. Previously, John held the position of Chief Compliance Officer at Movement Mortgage, LLC from 2008 to 2012, managing the compliance department and handling state, FHA, and VA audits. John’s extensive experience also includes significant roles at PNC (formerly National City Mortgage), where responsibilities ranged from State Underwriting/Operations Manager to Vice President of Construction/Renovation Operations. Early career endeavors included key positions at Bank United Mortgage and Tidewater First Financial Group, where expertise in 203K renovations and compliance development was cultivated. John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Robert Gordon University.
