Mayfield Brooks is an experienced educator and program administrator with a diverse background in teaching arts, yoga, and outdoor education. Significant roles include Teaching Artist at the Research Foundation of The City University of New York, where Mayfield developed a social justice arts curriculum, and Farm Manager at Morris Campus Educational Farm. Other notable positions include Urban Youth Development Coordinator at Pie Ranch, Dance Instructor at UC Davis, and Movement Research Artist in Residence. Mayfield holds multiple degrees, including a Master’s in Performance Studies/Dance from Northwestern University and an MFA in Dramatic Arts from the University of California, Davis. Additionally, Mayfield has coordinated various educational programs, developed curricula, and led numerous student-focused initiatives in the fields of arts and environmental education.
