Brian Flaherty

Brian Flaherty is a seasoned technology leader specializing in healthtech startups, currently serving as Chief Architect at MovementX. With over four successful startups under their belt and a track record of raising more than $30 million in venture capital, they have co-invented four state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms and shipped three AI products. Brian's notable accomplishments include their role as Chief Engineer at Groundspeed Analytics, where they built a successful AI-as-a-service product and achieved a profitable exit for investors. They also co-founded Thread Medical, aiming to innovate in ambient medical scribing, and now provide advisory services to various healthtech companies. Brian holds a BA in Political Science and a BBA from the University of Michigan, as well as a JD from the University of Michigan Law School.
