Dr. Keaton Ray

Dr. Keaton Ray has held various positions throughout their career. In 2007, they worked as a Level 4 Women's Gymnastics Coach at Champion Gymnastics. From 2009 to 2011, they were part of the Athletic Training Education Program at the University of the Pacific. In 2012, they served as the Duke DPT Class President at Duke University. Later on, from 2012 to 2014, they were involved in the American Physical Therapy Association- Student Assembly Board of Directors, serving as both a Secretary and a Nominating Committee Member. In 2014, they joined Advance Sports and Spine Therapy as a Physical Therapist, also handling responsibilities such as website design, social media management, community outreach marketing, and SEO optimization. During the same year, they became an APTA Delegate for the Oregon Physical Therapy Association, participating in the House of Delegates. In 2015, they worked as the Director of Operations, Outreach, and Communication for PT Day of Service. Finally, in 2016, they co-founded MovementX, initially as the Co-Founder and later as the Co-Founder and COO.

Dr. Keaton Ray's education history is as follows:

Dr. Ray attended Duke University School of Medicine from 2011 to 2014, where they obtained a Clinical Doctorate in Physical Therapy/Therapist. Prior to that, from 2007 to 2011, they attended the University of the Pacific and earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.), Magna Cum Laude in Athletic Training/Trainer.

Additionally, in 2014, Dr. Ray participated in an International Exchange Program at the Western Norway University of Applied Sciences, focusing on Physiotherapy.

In terms of certifications, Dr. Ray is a Board Certified Orthopedic Specialist (OCS), obtained from the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialists in March 2017. They are also a Certified ASTYM Provider, obtained in October 2015. Furthermore, they hold certifications as a Certified Clinical Instructor from the American Physical Therapy Association (obtained October 2015), as well as in BLS for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association (obtained September 2011). Lastly, they are a CSCS-Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, certified by the NSCA-National Strength and Conditioning Association in September 2011, and an ATC- Athletic Trainer, Certified, obtained from the Board of Certification in April 2011.
