Marco Galassi

Marco Galassi is a Full Stack Software Engineer at Moveshelf since June 2023, focusing on designing and developing solutions to address customer needs while debugging existing code. Prior experience includes working as a Software Analyst at BPER Banca from April 2019 to June 2023, coordinating project developments for web and mobile banking applications and serving as the IT point of contact for personal finance management apps. At Microlog srl, Galassi worked as a Backend Engineer from February 2017 to March 2019, designing and developing APIs to collect sensor data. Galassi began a PhD journey at Università degli Studi di Modena e Reggio Emilia from November 2015 to February 2017, assisting in a Java MultiThreading lab and researching swarm robotics. Earlier academic experience includes a role as a Research Fellow at the same university in collaboration with Telecom Italia S.p.A. Galassi holds a Master's Degree in Computer Science and Engineering and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from the same institution, completed between 2008 and 2015.
