Liz Roper

Liz Roper is a software engineer and accountant who currently works in development at MoveSpring. Prior to their current position, Roper worked as a junior software engineer and intern at Highway Benefits, where they assisted in building a serverless application using React and various Amazon Web Services. Roper also spent three years at Raise as a senior accountant, during which they managed the general ledger, supervised staff accountants, and reconciled sales and other transactional data. Additionally, Roper has experience working as a consultant in forensic accounting.

Liz Roper's educational career includes completing a Software Engineering Immersive Certificate from General Assembly in the field of Computer Software Engineering. Liz also has a Master of Accounting Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in the fields of Accountancy and Information Technology. Additionally, Liz Roper has a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with a concentration in the Environmental Fellows Program. Liz is also certified by Udemy in Complete Python Bootcamp: Go from zero to hero in Python 3 and by Codecademy in Programming with Python. Finally, Liz Roper is a Licensed Certified Public Accountant through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation.
