Ermo Wei

Ermo Wei is a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Moveworks since June 2025, focusing on Search and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG). Prior experience includes serving as a Machine Learning Engineer at Dropbox from July 2018 to June 2025, where work involved building recommendation systems and optimizing large NLP models. Ermo's academic background includes a PhD from George Mason University, where research concentrated on reinforcement learning and multi-agent learning, alongside roles as a Graduate Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant. Additional experience comprises internships, including software engineering at Dropbox and IBM, as well as contributing to the RoboCup team in 2015 and tutoring at Jefferson Houston Middle School. Ermo received a BS in Software Engineering from Xiamen University and attended PKU School prior.
