Klaas Poortinga

Klaas Poortinga is a seasoned software engineer currently employed at MoveYou since September 2022. Prior to this role, Klaas accumulated extensive experience at Van der Let & Partners from January 2016 to August 2022, specializing in marketing and web development. Before that, Klaas worked as a software developer at Bright Alley from February 2014 to December 2015, where responsibilities included creating learning solutions using the open-source Moodle framework and developing custom plugins for major clients. The journey began with a graduate internship at Bright Alley, focusing on enhancing e-learning activity tracking through research on the Experience API. Earlier experiences include front- and backend development at Creative Work from September 2012 to February 2014 and a sales position at Dixons from July 2009 to September 2011. Klaas holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication & Multimedia Design from NHL Hogeschool, obtained between 2009 and 2014, and completed HAVO at Bornego College from 2002 to 2008.
