Robert Schurig

Robert Schurig has a range of work experience in web development and software engineering roles. Robert began their career in 2000 at echtzeit AG, where they focused on 3D graphics projects for urban planning, architecture, and design. Robert then worked as an IT Administrator at Meticube and Fraunhofer-IUK, handling server maintenance and daily IT support. Robert later became a Software Developer at ]init[ - Services for the eSociety, where they developed and deployed desktop and web applications using languages such as C#, Java, and ASP.NET. At Freiberuflicher Softwareentwickler, they specialized in projects for various companies, including Google Maps API integration and Adobe Flex programming. Robert then joined cobra youth communications GmbH as a Web Developer before moving to bettermarks GmbH as a Web Developer, primarily focusing on Adobe Flex, ActionScript, and Angular JS. Currently, they work at movingimage as a Senior Frontend Engineer, specializing in React, Angular, and VanillaJS/ES6/TypeScript. Robert has experience with various frameworks, libraries, and tools, such as React, Angular, Cypress, Jest, and Webpack. Robert has also worked on projects involving video players, video management applications, and complex search and filtering systems. Robert is fluent in both German and English.

Robert Schurig attended Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft Berlin from 2001 to 2006. Robert pursued a degree in internationale Medieninformatik and successfully obtained a Diplom Informatiker (FH) upon completion of their studies.
